This week is Izzy’s fall break from school. Today was our trip to Kalmar Slott. I had booked Izzy and her friend, Adanna, tickets for a ghost tour of the castle. We took the train to Kalmar in the morning and walked to the castle. We ate lunch there (not the best food, but it was convenient) and toured the museum until the tour. The tour was in Swedish, so I skipped it. In hindsight, I should probably have gone. They were able to tour the dungeons below the castle where one can’t normally visit. It was a lot of walking. Tomorrow will be a low-key day.
The weather turned out surprisingly nice, despite being overcast and wet in the morning. Below are pictures from the trip.
